The “M” series begins our final sprint for my mother Sakara Rico’s remaining works. This will take us up to February 1st, 2025 and then I will add a final comment and picture on February 2nd.
All in this series were scanned from slides that she had made herself. All I have from this series is the slides themselves. The location of any of these works is unknown. I believe the slides would have been made in the 90s or maybe early 2000s. The works covered appear to be from the 80s to the 90s based on what I remember and recognize.
This first “text” image is atypical of the other works you have seen. I am not very familiar with the history of this one. I believe this may have been made in the mid 80s when she was doing text credits for a broadcasters in-house productions. Based on what I can tell from the setup of the slide, the orientation of the text is correct.
